Hi, I'm Natalie

Hi, I'm Natalie

I’m Natalie & I’ve got 3 baby daddies. JK, kinda. I missed #fridayintroductions because whose keeping tabs on what day it is?

Over the last month I’ve lost 500+ followers but welcomed 600 new ppl to our little community! My side part & ripped skinny jeans genuinely welcome you.

I’m constantly fighting the boxes I & society place me + you in, but here are some things about me inevitably placing me in boxes:

1. I was 20 when I married a great man I long distance dated & knew less than a year, on 8/11/12. Purity culture really did a number on us both, groomed us for dysfunction.

2. We adopted our 1stborn son together while I was 20 weeks pregnant with 2nd. Infant adoption was our intro to exploding the ridiculous idea you can’t love a kid not born to you. Our super twins are 5 mo apart.

3. Our marriage dissolved at the end of 2018. Our family structure shifted; we are currently thriving. I feel strongly sometimes a family structure must shift for the health of everyone. Healing only comes after breaking & this was the breakage we needed.

4. Every kind of mom: was a foster mama & plan to again. We lost 3 babies: 2 from my womb & 1 thru disrupted adoption; baby sis ended up w M & C. Was a bonus mom of sorts to 2 older boys when my baby’s daddy & I lived together & were building a life together. Mothering isn’t only thru birthing.

5. Oh right 3 baby daddies. My former husband is Sage + Iras dad, my recent significant break up is with Kahlil’s dad; the 3rd baby dad is because Sage came from another man’s scrotum & I do update him on his (birth) son.

6. Im passionate about Black lives mattering; if that makes you want to unfollow me, I invite you to sit in discomfort. I’m here for all the chats, will hold your hand & humbly acknowledge this is a journey forever unpacking.

7. I love Jesus. You’re welcome here if you don’t or do.

8. I say the F word; Ive been working thru sexual shame & trauma; Im chill & not easily offended; I hold space for you wherever you’re at on your journey & want to create safety for you to heal; wrote a memoir on grief; I’m obsessed w oils + supplements & the way they support us.

That’s me in SOME boxes. U in any of these boxes w me?
